About Conference
RICEC 2027 brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from Taiwan, Indonesia, and beyond to share how civil engineering can respond to a changing climate and an aging built environment. Jointly organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University and the Department of Civil Engineering at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, the conference spans eight themes across structures, geotechnics, water, transportation, and infrastructure policy.

Submission Guidelines

1Abstract Submission
- Deadline for abstract submission: November 2026.
- Authors should address one of the eight conference themes.
- Abstracts will be reviewed, with notification of acceptance in February 2027.
2Full Paper Submission
- Deadline for full paper submission: July 2027.
- Only authors of accepted abstracts may submit a full paper.
- Submission template and formatting guidelines Coming soon.
- Full papers will undergo peer review by subject experts.
3Final Paper Submission
- Deadline for final paper submission: September 2027.
- Authors will receive feedback from editors and reviewers; revised versions must address all comments.
- Selected papers will be considered for Scopus-indexed proceedings Publisher in discussion.
